Done

Wow, I haven't posted in forever. Good news is, my dissertation is done (I hope). And by "done", I mean, "typed, proofread, retyped, reproofread, re-retyped, panic edited, formatted, printed, bound, and turned in". Read: DONE.

After turning in the beast (54 pages, including bibliography, for all those with wagers), I headed over to the student bar to meet up with some classmates. They're all younger than I am. They're all fresh-faced, and ready to go out into the world and find good careers. I, however, am ready to put on the giving-up pants, pop on some Nick Cave, and read a novel. I am not fresh-faced. I am old.

And I have a blog, and a summer, and some trips. Perhaps they could all have a little get-together sometime, and you could hear about them.

But not now. Now, Thom has to go to bed. Good night.
