A beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor, and I got none. I'm inside working, and looking out the window at a gorgeous 75-degree sunny day. Three and a half hours to go...
Anyway, this is job number 2, the apartment, weekends. This is the short job. This is one of the two I had before I went to Japan. This is pretty easy. The other job, the new one, it's a blast. I am now, according to an intranet post, the new communications intern at AgriBank, FCB in St. Paul. It's cool; I get to write, edit, design, interview, and listen to some pretty big names in the U.S. agricultural lending industry. Every day is something new and different, and I'm never bored! And I get to walk into Caribou and order drinks, instead of just making them (though I have to pay for them too, which isn't nearly as fun). And if work gets too busy, and I need a little break from my own windowed cube, I can simply take my provided laptop home with me, and work from home! Did I mention how much I like this job?
So I'm staying busy, working 7 days a week, saving money, "staying out of trouble" as some put it. I'm staying out of everything, truth be told. Oh well, the Girl is coming out soon, and then it'll be two weeks of fun and games and travel. Next scheduled day off: July 4th. Next possible day off: June 16th, for Cody's wedding and Becca's birthday party. Busy busy.
Okay, back to work. Or work still. One or t'other.
Keep yer powder dry,
T-->
